Doug Brignell RIP

Sadly we lost one of our volunteers earlier this month. Doug, who has been a popular volunteer with CVSS for many years, sadly died on 7th November. Doug loved sailing and was a devoted father and grandfather. He had been unwell for some time. His funeral on 21st November was well attended by CVSS members. He will be greatly missed by all at CVSS.

Our thoughts and prayers go to his wife Iris and all his family.

Co-op Local Community Fund Presentation

We are very grateful to the Co-op Local Community Fund for raising a massive total of £3,113.16 for Colne Valley Special Sailors, all thanks to Co-op Members nominating our charity. CVSS Chairman Mike Marcus received the cheque today along with Zara and Glenda on behalf of CVSS, the presentation taking place at the Croxley Green Co-op store.
The support of the Co-op Local Community Fund is very much appreciated.
